About Us
CWR's
performance-based products and
solutions are designed to optimize System Performance, Return on
Investment (ROI) and Risk Management.
In order to comply
with Sanitary Sewer regulations, municipal agencies want to know
the most effective way of removing inflow and infiltration (I/I)
from their systems. “If we allocate the capital resources, how
much I/I can we predictably remove; at what cost; and over what
time frame?” The ability to predictably answer to these
important questions and allow for the proper commitment of
capital for collection system renewal has been termed the “Holy
Grail” by a number of industry experts.
For many communities, knowing what
products to specify; scope of renewal; location of renewal; and
ensuring a good return on capital investment is a daunting task.
In simple terms, with uncertain results, capital investments in
collection system renewal by municipal utilities cannot
responsibly be made with the scale required to solve the
problem.
In many cases, pressure from regulatory agencies and
the threat of legal action by environmental groups and others to
rapidly solve the problem of sanitary sewer overflows and
basement back-ups is over-whelming. Limited financial resources
and cutbacks in Federal and State Funding have only exacerbated
the problem.
CWR was formed to address these
significant Clean Water challenges faced by all municipalities
and collection system owners.
We have established
a network of leading market experts, from national engineering
firms to national contracting firms to concrete experts to
environmental advocates to major development companies. We
have developed a line of high-performance products (Duracoat™,
2X Green and The Lifespan System®) and performance-based renewal
solution (the CWR Capital Program) that deliver results.
Improve
System Performance. Improve the Environment. Improve
Your ROI. Reduce Your Risk.
Our most
comprehensive offering, the CWR Capital Program, starts with the experience of knowing exactly what the
priority areas are to renew; leading to knowing which “best in
class” products to specify; along with experience in how to use
Private Funding to eliminate Performance Risk; and finally
through employing the highest standards of utility construction;
CWR provides municipal agencies with the most cost-effective and
managed-risk method of renewing collection system
infrastructure.
Currently, municipalities and
taxpayers do not have any option but to bear the risk of
successful I/I reduction — an expensive, time-consuming and
disruptive initiative with inherently uncertain results. In our
role of bringing a privately funded comprehensive renewal
solution based on pre-approved best in class products and
construction processes, CWR shifts the risk of success away from
the taxpayers allowing the municipality to pay a fixed price for
reduction AND only pay for actual reduction.
